A cellphone video may be a clue to who killed Mary's father; Ed tries to find out who robbed the Montecito; Delinda gets a chance to tell Danny her secret; Sam tries to escape her captors.
The new owner of the Montecito, A.J. Cooper, introduces himself to the staff an brings a new campaign with him: "Anything Can Happen." The staff get worried that people might get fired. Sam is seeing a psychiatrist because of her recent abduction, but she won't open up to him. Instead, she tells him everything about her colleagues.
Friendships are at stake when the new casino owner tries to make changes at the Montecito; Danny loses confidence that he will be the new president; Sam continues therapy and decides to befriend the new hotel concierge.
Cooper secures a beauty pageant for the Montecito, but things go awry when someone sabotages the contestants; sam thinks she sees a casino guest murdering a woman but has difficulty trying to convince Danny that she is not hallucinating.
