Gong Ah-Jung (Yoon Eun-Hye) is an civic officer for Korea. A single woman who is having a rough patch at work meets up with an old friend who 'stole' the man she likes. Flaunting her new husband at her former friend, Ah-Jung makes up the idea of a 'husband' that she has to get back at her.
The rumors quickly spiral out of control when it shifts and her husband suddenly has a name...
Hyun Ki-Joon (Kang Ji-Hwan) who is the president for large corporation, with wealth and power behind him.
To add to the mix, Sang-Hee (Sung Joon), who is Ki-Joon's brother, adds to the deceptions and introduces Ah-jung to the CEo of a fellow corporations as Ki-Joon's wife.
From there Ah-Jung and Ki-Joon turn to each other as the lie spirals out of control, especially when Ki-Joon's ex-fiance returns to take him back.
