Next Episode of London's Great Bridges: Lighting the Thames is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Charlie Luxton is on the River Thames with 100,000 lights.
Charlie travels to America to meet Leo Villareal, the artist behind the project. He gets together with the Chewing Gum Man on Millennium Bridge and explores the varied history of London Bridge.
As the work to light the bridges begins, an Egyptian goose lays an egg, putting the tight schedule in a spin. And Charlie goes dangling off the side of London Bridge.
Final preparations are made ahead of the 69,000 lights finally being switched on, and electricians and abseilers are working flat out to finish on time. However, the installation on Millennium Bridge is proving difficult. The American artist behind the project finally arrives in Londin and begins the process of making his vision a reality. Charlie Luxton explores Tower Bridge and looks at the history of art inspired by the Thames, joining artist Stephen Wiltshire to paint a view famously captured by Monet.
