Next Episode of Looking is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Looking offers up the unfiltered experiences of three close friends living - and loving - in modern-day San Francisco. Friendship may bind them, but each is at a markedly different point in his journey: Patrick is the 29-year-old video game designer getting back into the dating world in the wake of his ex's engagement; aspiring artist Agustín, 31, is questioning the idea of monogamy amid a move to domesticate with his boyfriend; and the group's oldest member - longtime waiter Dom, 39 - is facing middle age with romantic and professional dreams still unfulfilled. The trio's stories intertwine and unspool dramatically as they search for happiness and intimacy in an age of unparalleled choices - and rights - for gay men. Also important to the ‘Looking' mix is the progressive, unpredictable, sexually open culture of the Bay Area, with real San Francisco locations serving as a backdrop for the group's lives. Rounding out the ‘Looking' world are a bevy of dynamic gay men including Kevin, Lynn, and Richie, as well as a wide-range of supporting characters like Dom's roommate Doris, Agustín's boyfriend Frank, and Patrick's co-worker Owen.
Patrick, Agustén and Dom head to Russian River to stay at Lynn's weekend cabin for relaxation and bonding. Though Patrick wants to lay low, the guys end up at a bacchanalian party in the woods after running into a Faerie. Meanwhile, Patrick mulls over what he wants from his life in the city, and Dom looks for clues in the house about Lynn's old life.
After reminiscing over their childhood obsessions, Patrick and Kevin decide to develop a gay game app on the side, but Patrick soon descends into a panic spiral when he discovers a small rash. Dom scopes out a location in the Tenderloin for a peri peri chicken take-out window; Doris is chatted up by a cute political aide; and Agustén makes plans to meet up with Eddie, the "bear" he met at Russian River, but gets sidetracked by an old co-worker.
Patrick prepares for an important milestone with Kevin, who wants to keep their relationship a secret even though he's planning to attend Dom's rugby match. Meanwhile, Agustín expresses his gratitude to Richie; and Dom wonders if Lynn really supports his restaurant dream while having breakfast with Doris and her new fling.
As he tests the waters with Richie to see if they can still be friends, Patrick starts questioning his relationship with Kevin after spotting him at the farmers' market. Agustèn gets inspiration from spending a day at the shelter with Eddie ; Doris helps Dom set up a Kickstarter campaign; later Dom is greeted by an unexpected guest at Lynn's.
On an excursion to San Leandro, Patrick gets to see where Richie grew up, and finally has a chance to apologize for the way things ended. Agustèn decides to pay a visit to Eddie after hearing he's sick at home. Meanwhile, wrought over the situation with Patrick, Kevin considers what to do next.
Patrick decides to be a "fun gay" by throwing a Halloween party, dressing up as his favorite video-game character. Agustèn suggests that Eddie stay over after the party, but Eddie doesn't want to move too fast. Forgoing her usual joint costume with Dom, Doris agrees to a couples costume with Malik, though she's hesitant to define their relationship. Eddie brings a friend to the party for Patrick, who's distracted by Richie and his new beau, Brady.
After learning of a sudden death in the family, Dom and Patrick travel with Doris to Dom and Doris' hometown of Modesto, where they revisit old haunts and attend an emotional funeral.
Patrick is eager to present his new game app with Kevin at the upcoming GaymerX convention, but soon worries that their app may not be ready yet. Dom shows Doris and Malik the progress on his chicken take-out window. Agustén is forced to confront his underlying fears about having protected sex with HIV-pos Eddie.
Patrick and Kevin look at a sleek new apartment for Kevin, and later, Patrick's mom convinces him to spend a day at the zoo with his judgmental sister Megan. Bad financial news drives a wedge in Doris and Dom's friendship. Eddie convinces a resistant Agustén to take on an art project for the shelter.
Patrick makes a discovery that leads him to question what he wants in a relationship. Malik encourages Dom to patch things up with Doris. Agustén's nerves come out at the shelter's mural unveiling.
