Next Episode of Louisiana Law is
Louisiana Law follows the men and women of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries as they patrol one of the most geographically diverse states in the U.S., with a jurisdiction that ranges from 200 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico up to the border of Arkansas. With the authority to enforce all fish and wildlife laws in addition to state and federal criminal laws, the wildlife agents of Louisiana are tasked with protecting the natural resources of the state and are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, often patrolling alone and miles from backup.
While using the LDWFs spy-in-the-sky drone, Agents track down a boat captain breaking the law in Plaquemines Parish. A family of shrimpers is investigated for pulling oversized nets, and two feuding fishermen are suspected of being under the influence.
As a storm rolls in over St. Tammany Parish, Cpl. Blaine Wagner and Cpl. Rick Clark assist in a search and rescue mission for a missing fisherman. Agents confront a repeat offender for harassing hunters and a felon is caught with an illegal firearm.
In Ouachita Parish, a trespassing investigation leads to a dicey encounter and multiple seizures of deer. Agents confront a group of duck hunters who are spotted killing non-game birds, and health code violations are found during a routine oyster patrol.
As Hurricane Ida makes landfall, Wildlife Agents deploy to help the people of Louisiana. An injured woman is trapped in a flooded hotel, elderly neighbors await rescue in punishing conditions, and lifesaving supplies must be delivered to those in need.
