An emotional transference romance that unfolds as a woman who denies empathy and a man who bears the burden of empathy come to share each other's emotions. Cha Eun Hwan, a man who bears others' emotions excessively. He is a psychological counseling expert who has gained widespread popularity for his unique counseling methods. However, after becoming entangled in an unexpected incident, his everyday life and emotional balance begin to unravel. As he falls into despair, a figure connected to his past appears, bringing changes to both his life and his emotions. Yoo Ji An, a former girl group member who was once called the "Nation's Idol" and enjoyed explosive popularity, is now working as an actress. Having lived her life suppressing her emotions under her mother's strict control since childhood, Ji An faces a crisis due to controversy over her acting skills, stemming from her lack of empathy. She then meets Cha Eun Hwan, a psychological counseling expert, and unexpectedly experiences "emotional transference." Through this experience, she begins to rediscover her lost emotions and grow as a person.
After Eun Hwan accepts Ji An's proposal to be her manager, they start practising their collaboration for the acting so they don't make mistakes during the shoot. However, when the shooting starts, Ji An is flustered upon realising that the emotional transference no longer works, and she is fired from the show. Hence, Eun Hwan tries to cheer her up by enhancing her reputation, and they try to figure out why the emotional transference is not working.
Ji An and Eun Hwan guess that the reason why the emotional transference is reversed is the earlier kiss. So they try to kiss every hour in different places. After the emotional transference is reversed again, Ji An passes on an audition and gets a role in Director Moon's film. Also, Eun Hwan tries to find Mi Jeong, who accused Ji An, and tries to find out the truth of the power abuse case from her.
After Ji An knows that the culprit in Ji An's bullying case might be Yi Jin, she rushes to Yi Jin's dressing room and slaps her on the cheek. CEO Kim tries to drag Ji An down one more time, insisting that their fight was Ji An's one-sided assault. But his plan is ruined by Eun Hwan's attack, and the truth behind Ji An's bullying accusation is revealed. After being rehabilitated, Eun Hwan leaves Ji An, and Ji An is flustered by his absence.
Ji An's mom, who has always tried to control Ji An, returns and reconciles with her. But after her comeback, Ji An's ordinary life is ruined. She interferes with her career, requesting Director Moon to increase her screen time. Hence, Ji An's reputation collapses again, and even Yi Jin gets angry at Ji An, believing that Ji An is taking her opportunity again. She decides to disappear from the public, and Eun Hwan tries to find her, feeling anxious.
