Inspired by Nina Stibbe's book, Love, Nina is a fictionalized adaptation of Nina's letters home to her sister: a charming, laugh-out-loud culture clash drama series about a young nanny from Leicester finding her feet in 1980s London. It celebrates family and friendship in all its chaotic glory.
Nina goes on an awkward date with Nunney, the good-looking boy who lives over the road.
Nina and George decide to give away Lucas, the family cat, but when Joe finds this out they have to get him back.
Nina makes friends with fellow nanny Amanda, but there is an embarrassing incident at a yoga class they both attend.
Nina crashes George's car and inadvertently passes the blame on to Malcolm.
