Nakhun is an unsuperstitious twenty-year-old student. One day, fate plays a trick on him and he winds up travelling back nearly four hundred years to the Ayutthaya Kingdom.He's mistaken for someone who had gone missing, so Nakhun assumes the identity of Klao and tries to work out the mystery of his disappearance while searching for a way back to his time period. Klao's friend Phop doesn't believe that Nakhun is the younger brother he knew and keeps an eye trained on him.
Modern student Nakun wakes up in ancient Ayutthaya, where a stern commander mistakes him for a man named Klao.
Rescuing Nakun, Phop stays close but won't let him leave. Now stuck in Ayutthaya, Nakun must move in and play Klao.
Nakun's investigation into the past leads to a dangerous run-in with local thugs, while his friction with Phop takes a surprisingly warm turn.
Klao uncovers the original Klao's rowdy past while struggling with his growing, confusing feelings for the stern Phop.
Klao's jealousy over a potential marriage for Phop is cut short by a violent vision of the real Klao's murder.
Phop falls ill after waiting for Klao in the rain, but their tension melts into a tender night of comfort and care.
