Begins in 1978, as Xerxes returns to the Tata Group from NBDIC (CIDCO) to revive Tata Press. During this journey, he conceives the idea of entering the watch business, concluding around 1979.
Begins in 1980, following the hiring of the core team, securing government approvals and loans, and collaboration with the Tamil Nadu government, concluding around 1983.
Covers the period up to 1986, focusing on the establishment of the manufacturing plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, and the making of the first watch after training the newly recruited employees.
It is set entirely in 1987 and revolves around the opening of Titan's first store in Bangalore in December 1987 and struggles of selling the watch.
Spans from 1988 to 1990 and explores Titan's rise through strong marketing and branding, including the iconic advertising campaign featuring Mozart's symphony.
In 1991 and concludes around 1993, (the year J. R. D. Tata passed away) This phase covers the development of the prototype for Titan Edge, which was eventually launched in India much later in 2002.
