Majika

“Majika” translated into English means "Magic" and that is the name of this series that aired weeknights on the GMA network in 2006. “Majika” is just what it claims to be a Magical fantasy with drama and romance and what is called in the Philippines is a “Telefantasya” series. Besides a lot of magic this series had swords and sorcery, magicians and wizards and many strange characters and beings. The series takes place on the world of “Saladin” where magic is a everyday occurrence and a young beautiful girl named Sabrina. Sabrina is played as a young girl by child actress “Ella Cruz” and as an adult by the beautiful and talented actress “Angel Locsin”. She grows up as a normal girl among mortals but as gets older she gains powers of wizardry. Argo played by the talented actor “Dennis Trillo” helps Sabrina learn how to harness her powers to be able to use them to their full potential. He is the Son of King Arendo and Queen Almira of Abedeha and the brother of Princess Tamara. Ayesa is Sabrina’s adoptive Mother played by “Carmina Villaroel” and her husband is Garam played by “Zoren Legaspi”.
