Mama June: From Not to Hot is all about Mama June's dramatic transformation. "I'm a mama, a grandmama, and a BIG reality star — and now I'm ready for a BIG change," Mama June narrates as we see her strike various poses. But she's not just talking about physical changes, she's revamping her entire life! "It's time to say goodbye to bad men and junk food," Mama June says before adding that fans (and haters) can all "[say] hello to a whole new me, because when they see what I look like now, they're not going to believe their eyes!" At this point we see a string of text that I assume are all things that went into Mama June's dramatic makeover. Included in the list are weight loss surgery, physical therapy, liquid diet, tummy tuck, gastric sleeve, strength training, breast implants, high intensity training, and laser teeth whitening.
Mama claims to be sober as her family falls apart; Pumpkin guards Alana and Ella from seeing Mama while Geno's still in the picture; Pumpkin and Josh's marriage hits rock bottom; Mama's blindsided when her past comes back to haunt her.
June and Geno are shook when forced to appear in court in less than 24 hours as they face major jail time; June goes searching for the girls; Doe Doe's caught in the crossfire; Sugar Bear suffers a medical emergency.

June wants Alana to live with her and her new boyfriend, Justin; Pumpkin is livid and determined to protect Alana by getting full custody; June takes Pumpkin and Jessica on an apology trip to Vegas, where they plan to present her with custody papers.
June pulls out all the stops for Pumpkin and Jessica in Las Vegas, taking them to a special plus-size salon; Pumpkin blurts out a secret and stresses about asking June to sign papers giving her custody of Alana; Dralin and Alana get closer.
Pumpkin and Josh's custody of Alana derails and Sugar Bear is forced to get involved; Pumpkin and Josh get a big shock; June and Justin go to Los Angeles for dental and weight-loss surgeries.
