Mark McKinney Needs a Hobby

Mark McKinney travels to the Canadian shores of Lake Erie to learn about birding and birdwatching; he embarks on a journey to the Long Point Nature Preserve, tags and releases birds at a Birds Canada outpost.

With pavilions and tents pitched in the middle of a field, Mark will dress, eat, live, and sleep in a wholly medieval world – where he will also help with cooking, try his hand at archery, learn longsword techniques, take in a duel between two knights, and, ultimately, perform a bespoke "medieval stand up comedy set" as his offering to the May Queen who presides over the weekend events.
