Aviram, a self-important, rule-dodging sergeant, leads a cushy life at a military Special Ops base. His world is thrown into utter chaos when his son, 19-year-old Rani, unwittingly becomes the new Canteen Commando. Rani's a Walmart version of a young Woody Allen, insecure and with a fear of alpha males, who now finds himself serving under a detestable sergeant (his estranged father), facing surprise drills, misguided mentorship and the most passive-aggressive toastie orders known to man! While trying to survive, Rani looks to win the heart of Naama – a sharp-tongued counter-terrorism clerk with no patience for macho nonsense. In his quest to prove himself to Naama – and maybe, just maybe, to his father – Rani might just discover that courage comes in many forms…even if it's buried under layers of pretzels and PTSD.
