Mike Tyson and legendary filmmaker Spike Lee bring Tyson’s hit one-man stage show to TV in HBO Films "MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH". Raw, honest, powerful and full of humor, the film features “Iron Mike” recounting his life’s highs and lows in his signature candid style.

Over the course of 90 riveting minutes, Tyson opens up about his troubled Brooklyn youth, landmark boxing career, key influences in his life, personal and professional controversies, time in prison, loss of family members and, most recently, his rehabilitation and redemption, forged by sobriety and a renewed commitment to family life.

Filmed over the course of two performances in July 2013, MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH paints a vivid portrait of a lawless street kid’s rise to the pinnacle of sports supremacy – heavyweight champion of the world – only to see his dominance, reputation and marketability evaporate. In the show, Tyson unveils never-before-told stories, peeling back the layers of tragedy and public turmoil amidst his triumphs. That Mike Tyson has not only survived but actually re-invented himself as a family man, TV personality, soon-to-be published author and in-demand actor, is a reflection of his evolving maturity, and his appreciation of the second chances he’s received.

Earlier this year, Tyson wrapped a ten-week U.S. tour of “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth,” which ran on Broadway the previous summer, both directed by Lee. He will perform the show overseas this winter and spring. Originally, The show, written by Kiki Tyson, was a popular and critical smash.

Reviewing the production, the LA Times called Tyson “a riveting stage presence with compelling stories to tell” and New York’s Daily News described his show as “entertaining” and “fascinating,” adding that he “is gifted with iron-clad charisma.” (Source: HBO)
