What should have been a normal patrol for a group of young Danish soldiers, ends in a nightmare - and everything is recorded on their helmet cameras. The Danes gets ambushed and surrounded by the Taliban. Almost running out of ammunition, the soldier Lasse sees no other resort than to engage in certain death, in the enemies line of fire, to ensure his comrades survival.

'The ground is poisonous', when the Danish soldiers move between the buried roadside bombs in Helmand, and every step can be the last step.

But it turns out to be an ambush organized by the Taliban, and it has fatal consequences for the Danish soldiers.

But the enemy is prepared, so the soldiers encounter unexpectedly strong resistance and the operation is delayed. With the Danes caught deep in enemy land the Taliban mount an attack on the Danish camp.
