Twenty years later. Ksenia is a successful owner of a large clothing brand, raising two children alone and accepting the courtship of married Alexei. Olya continues to live with Boris and all his children. Masha arrives in Moscow, where Bill informs her by phone that he has filed for divorce.
The friends meet at the disco. Olya refuses to leave the dance floor, so Ksyusha asks her son Matvey to take her friend home. Masha and Masha take the subway home, where Gosha, a rock climber, meets her, claiming that he is her future husband. They get off at the station without having had time to exchange phone numbers.

Under the screen of Gosha's birthday, they tell Ksyusha the facts about him. Masha, after the wake of her mother, goes to Artyom. Her appearance comes as a big surprise to him.

Boris drives Olya out of the house, she goes to Ksyusha. A friend sends Matvey to meet her, and she goes to important talks with the Chinese. Vlad appears at the table as an interpreter, wondering why Ksenia did not tell him about her daughter. Then they walk, and the man tells her that he never got married because he couldn't meet a better woman. He offers to try again, Ksyusha just laughs in response. She thanks her for the lesson of youth, without which she would not have become herself, and asks her not to seek out meetings with her anymore.
Masha goes to the clinic where Artyom is being treated, finds him to talk, but the man continues to avoid her. When they finally manage to talk, Artyom indicates that 20 years ago they might have been happy, but now they are different on a molecular level. Later, he gives her advice on the process of returning ownership of the deceased mother's apartment. In the process, their meeting changes format and Masha's legs fail as a result of their meeting. She goes to the hospital, where she finds out about her pregnancy. Artyom is happy with this news, they decide to start a new life from now on.
Gosha decides to arrange a surprise and comes to Ksenia's house. She continues to lie, saying that she is temporarily staying with a friend, and offers to go to him. There she is going to tell the truth, but their conversation is interrupted by the unexpected appearance of Gosha's ex-wife in the apartment. Realizing that Gosha does not want to exchange apartments yet, Ksenia prefers to leave. Meanwhile, the professor asks Olga to return home and gives her a ring with an offer to become his wife, she agrees.
Vlad finds an approach to his daughter, she goes with him to walk in the places of youth. Gosha sells the apartment and offers Ksenia to go with him to a guest house on Valdai. She agrees, and when she comes to pack her things, she finds her daughter and Vlad in her apartment.
