Mr. Lucky is a skilled and inveterate gambler who turns his success into purchasing a floating casino ship. After he loses the first one, Fortuna, Mr. Lucky gains a second one, Fortuna II, and sets up outside an unnamed port city. The show chronicles the adventures of Mr. Lucky and his partner, Andamo, as they get into and out of trouble with a variety of clients and local mobsters.
Casino owner Mr. Lucky and his partner Andamo are forced to deal with the country's dictator when he learns that Andamo is using Lucky's yacht to run arms to the revolutionaries.
Lucky and Andamo, penniless, crash a costume party aboard an enormous yacht, and Lucky turns it into a floating casino, the Fortuna II.

A desperate lawyer hijacks the Fortuna so that he can take his daughter out of the country and way from his possessive ex-wife.
Lucky finds himself the target of a killer who has a wager with someone that they can kill Lucky.
A mob front man, Rosey, passes on an offer to Lucky to purchase the Fortuna. Lucky refuses to sell, and a series of incidents soon plague the boat: a staged brawl, a ferocious attack dog, and a fake smallpox outbreak.
After a friend is killed running for councilman, Lucky takes his place to ferret out the criminals responsible.
