Music From Chicago

“Music from Chicago” was a weekly music variety show seen on The Dumont network. The series debuted on 15 April 1951 as a 30-minute long Sunday night entertainment show. The show originated from the city of Chicago, Illinois and left the air after only 10 weekly episodes on 17 June 1951.

The Dumont network was one of the 4 Major networks that was airing shows nationally in the early 1950’s. Dumont eventually went off the air permanently near the end of 1954 leaving only the Big 3 networks.
