The Queen is cornered as her faulty actions are reported to the King. In effort to survive, she blames all the wrongful acts on Gyun Woo and his family. At young age, Gyun Woo wrote on a poster which brought about a huge turmoil ten years ago.

Gyun Woo and his father are arrested and Master Jung is planning to pin them down with more accusations. Meanwhile, the Princess is making all her efforts to save Gyun Woo. 

Gyun Woo decides to wear a Ghost Mask and make Ki Jun confess himself. After catching Ki Jun and his men, Gyun Woo plans to leave the capital. Meanwhile, Hye Myung meets her mother and hears the story of Gyun Woo. 

Also, after hearing from Lieutenant Kang, Hye Myung visits Gyun Woo and asks him to stay in the capital. Therefore, Gyun Woo proposes to Hye Myung, but Hye Myung refuses it as she wishes to study medical in the Qing.
