A police department eagerly awaits the arrival of a legendary, highly decorated detective named Oleg Korbut. Due to a clerical mix-up, a different man with the exact same name—Olezhka Korbut, a short, chubby, unluckily clumsy guy—arrives instead. When the real legendary cop arrives, both men are forced to team up as partners to solve dangerous and bizarre crimes together. Since there is only one open permanent slot at the station, the two must compete to prove who truly is the "best cop".
