Survivalists from all over the world - including Brazil, Australia, Mexico, and the United States - represent their homelands in a grueling 40-day primitive bushcraft competition. Paired with a partner, their skills, toughness and teamwork will be tested as they compete for national pride and the largest cash prize in franchise history.
An injury during an intense gauntlet competition puts a legend at risk. International survivalists must bring unique skills to torch, bridge and deadfall trap builds. Competitors scramble to stay safe as rhinos circle their camps at night.
When prime hunting grounds are unlocked, several teams take down warthogs. In a multi-stage challenge, competitors pick seeds out of rhino dung and build complex traps. Texas surges ahead, and Jeff calls out Ky. A legend is sent to the first elimination.
The first elimination tests survivalists' ability to make fire in damp conditions and puts a legend on the chopping block. A primitive bow challenge pushes bushcraft skills and partnerships to their breaking point. Two teams get big-game kills.
In a two-part challenge, survivalists must choose who will use the primitive bow and who will process each kill. Strong winds wreak havoc, and the competition is rocked when an underdog team dominates. Another legend is sent to elimination.
Competitors move to a new survival zone patrolled by territorial hippos, upending the challenge. Teams must design and build a traditional raffia palm raft. An underdog shocks the competition while a crucial mistake puts a legend at risk of elimination.
A primitive weapons challenge where survivalists build and use atlatls leads to a shocking elimination matchup. Multiple teams score huge protein wins, but Mexico's food struggles may lead medics to intervene. A raging storm causes a shelter to collapse.
