Next Episode of Never Seen a Doctor is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
In this new health series, Katie Piper travels around the country meeting people who have been avoiding their health troubles and hiding from the doctor and dentist for years. Drawing on her own experiences, Katie offers support as they undergo state-of-the-art treatments, while opening their eyes to the incredible things that modern medicine can do.
In the first episode, Katie meets a husband and wife with serious dental issues and a girl desperate for a solution to her problem skin. In Leicestershire, Janice and Greg's dental problems are getting out of hand - each one has a mouthful of rotten teeth and the effect on their overall health is very worrying.
Katie Piper meets a woman who's been using moulded chewing gum to try to disguise her damaged front teeth; a keen marathon runner unaware of the damage his varicose veins could do to his health; and a young woman struck by a condition that's paralysed the side of her face. In Essex, Sue's fear of the dentist has led her to resort to some innovative DIY dentistry to disguise serious damage to her front teeth. In Sussex, Josh is still dealing with the aftermath of burns from a spilled cup of tea when he was a toddler. In Cornwall, Lily has been struck by a sudden Bell's palsy, or paralysis, to one side of her face. The palsy may improve over time but in the meantime it's left Lily with a worrying side effect. And in Wales, Dave has discovered an unlikely treatment that may offer a life-changing cure for a birthmark on his face known as venous malformation.
In Folkestone, after years of dental neglect, Ben has decided he doesn't want to be the 21-year-old with no teeth. But can he turn things around? In Dartford, Matt wants to get to grips with a lifelong condition that no amount of exercise has been able to shift: gynecomastia, or manboobs. In Staffordshire, Hayley was struck by a severe case of acne at just the same time as she became pregnant with her first daughter. What can she do to regain her confidence? In London, overweight Derek has decided to undergo a new procedure to shed the pounds, with two operations in one to first remove his pannus - a flap of excess fat and skin - and then reduce the size of his stomach. And in south London, Nicky is the recipient of a 'bionic arm' that will give her the most advanced prosthetic limb in the country.
