 After 2 weeks of training, New Zealand's newest spies — and the only 3 who applied — Michael Riviera, Sue Nightingale, and Michael Anderson are thrown into their first mission.

Undercover as an athlete, coach, and chef, the spies are sent to Christchurch for the 1974 Unity Games to protect the Indian Foreign Minister from being assassinated.

Ignoring Boss's orders to rest and recuperate, Michael follows a lead to a Marlborough vineyard. Meanwhile, Sue teams up with a British spy in hopes of uncovering valuable information.

On a train to Auckland, the spies hatch a daring plan to intercept a briefcase of classified New Zealand documents before it lands in the hands of Dennis Green in the next carriage over.
