While Haruki's looks may have changed, with Hayato, she's still the same pal he remembers. Despite years apart, their promise and feelings remain and deepen into something stronger.
Childhood buddies Hayato and Haruki are reunited when Hayato moves to Tokyo and sees Haruki at his new school.
As the two old friends continue to get reacquainted, Haruki starts teasing Hayato for not owning a cell phone.
Himeko meets Haruki for the first time in years and decides to take her shopping to help update her wardrobe.
