Seven years after making a childhood promise to always be friends, Hayato is reunited with his formerly tomboyish pal Haruki at a city high school–only now, Haruki has transformed into the girl every guy dreams about! While Haruki's looks may have changed, with Hayato, she's still the same pal he remembers. Despite years apart, their promise and feelings remain and deepen into something stronger.
Hayato, Haruki, and Himeko go to the movies as planned but end up catching an unexpected guest along the way.
Haruki opens up about family issues after her rough night and Kazuki keeps trying to stir up drama at school.
Hayato is invited by his classmate Iori to go to the pool with everyone after the exams. He is also asked to invite Haruki, but Haruki doesn't seem very keen on the idea. At the same time, Hayato, Haruki, Himeko, and Saki start communicating in a group chat hosted by Tsukino. Haruki feels uneasy about the heartwarming exchange between Hayato and Saki.
Hayato and Haruki adjust to their new job and the girls shop for new swimsuits to wear on their big pool date.
