Then, one day her dreams come true when Karen arrives and takes her home to a grand new hutch specially built by Mr Sawdust.
But stopping her new owners, the Sawdust family, from giving her a silly name, like Squeaky or Gerda, proves a real challenge until Karen's school book provides an inspirational solution!
Olga makes friends with Venables the toad. However, when Karen reveals her family are planning toad-in-the-hole for tea, Olga mounts a rescue mission to hide Venables and keep him safe! While Graham and Fangio make hiding places in the compost heap, Noel is encouraged to dig a deep hole in the vegetable patch. This results in the destruction of Mr Sawdust's beans! Its finally revealed that toad-in-the-hole is human language for sausages in batter. Olga is very relieved, and the Sawdust family sit down for beans in-the-hole!
The Sawdusts prepare for the big family fun run. Can Olga join in too and win a medal? She gets preparations underway with the help of Graham and Fangio, but when the family unexpectedly disappears, she's worried she's missed out.
A tired Sawdust family return and put Olga out for her run. She shocks everyone with a speedy lap of the enclosure to show off her racing skills. Karen decides Olga deserves a medal for having fun in her run.
Olga spots a new addition to the garden, but what or who could it be? It looks like the Sawdusts have another tortoise! Olga sends Graham to find out more about Bessy, and when he returns, Olga can see Graham is in love.
But when the true nature of Bessy is revealed, Olga doesn't know how to tell Graham that she's really a bike helmet.

Olga recalls when she first met Noel – when she mistook his tail for a tasty snack! It's chaos in the garden as Mr Sawdust attempts a ladder rescue.
Later, Olga's story about some guinea pig tails and a lonely princess helps take Noel's mind off the incident. Noel accepts that his home is now Olga's home too.
Olga wants to be picked to perform at Karen's school show and tell. Olga tries to convince her friends Noel, Graham and Fangio of her singing abilities, but the other animals aren't convinced.
Olga is finally chosen by Karen to go to school, but will an attack of nerves get the better of her? Olga discovers that a great performance sometimes means just being yourself.
A thunderstorm scares Olga into thinking that the sky is falling down. After a visit to the vet, Olga has a rest inside the Sawdusts' home, where she's inspired by a ballet on TV.
A loud noise outside the garden is upsetting Mr Sawdust. What could it be? Maybe it's a dragon! Olga has great fun telling her friends all about the dragon and how she can control it, but is she telling the truth?
When Karen returns from school with what looks like a real dragon, Olga gets a fright! She reveals to her friends that the noises from outside the garden were from a digger, and the real dragon was only made of paper.
The Sawdust family enters Olga in the ‘Big Squeak - a competition to find the loudest guinea pig in town!
However, en route to the contest, Olga gets caught up in a family game which involves being asked questions before you can squeak out loud.
It's a tense contest, with Olga having to stay silent until the very end when Karen and the head judge help her out.
Karen brings home some mysterious creatures, but who are they and where did they come from? Olga asks Noel for help to investigate the new arrivals as she wonders whether they can be new friends or if Karen has a new favourite pet? Once she meets them properly, Olga decides they are her new 'school friends'!
Karens picks Olga for a very special job, but what could it be? The Sawdust's family friend photographs Olga as a model. But what is being made? Could it be an Olga statue? Karen shows Olga the final product, and Olga doesn't think it looks right, but she is very pleased when she finds out it's a draft excluder to help the Sawdusts stop cold drafts getting into their house!
The Sawdusts are going on holiday. Noel is heading to the cattery, but Mrs Sawdust reveals Olga is being taken to 'you know where'. It turns out to be an animal holiday home, where Olga not only enjoys some pampering but also has the opportunity to tell endless tales to the other resident guinea pigs.
