Otousan

A widower, Shiro Shindo (Masakazu Tamura) was left to raise his four daughters alone. Although they are now adults, they still seem as dissatisfied or unhappy about things as they were while growing up. The eldest daughter wants to leave her husband and return home. The second eldest wants to move away to pursue her dreams. The third daughter wants to leave home to move in with her lackluster boyfriend. The youngest wants to quit music school despite having played piano from childhood. When their father decides to remarry, the daughters conspire to stop the marriage, but soon begin to think about their own lives and choices.
