Panda is baffled by his feelings for Lola, who is marrying someone else. A professional mermaid is found drifting under the water at the local aquarium. Panda becomes frustrated when he learns that his dodgy ex-girlfriend is entangled in the crime and wants him to pull her out.
Lola is shocked by Elliot's suggestion that Panda should be their celebrant and even more shocked by Panda's apparently zen acceptance of the role. Their latest case takes them to the shattered remains of a medieval-themed hen do where the booze overflows, baseball takes a toll on garden gnomes, and a guest is found dead.
