Nickelodeon UK & Ireland is inviting viewers to Play Like a Sponge this summer in a brand-new short-form series in which SpongeBob has assembled a team of kids to try a selection of Paralympic sports and meet real life Paralympic legends.Produced in partnership with ParalympicsGB, Play Like a Sponge will inspire kids to find their inner SpongeBob SquarePants as the Nickelodeon icon cheers them on in their quest to learn about and sample new sports with paralympic athletes ahead of the upcoming Paralympic games in Paris this August.
SpongeBob SquarePants encourages children to learn about and sample new sports ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In the first edition, Harmonie and Owen meet Paralympic legend Amy Conroy, who shows them the fast-paced world of wheelchair basketball.
Kieran and Millie kick off their adventure by meeting taekwondo gold medallist Joe Lane to get a taste of the martial art.
Sarah Storey, the most decorated Paralympian of all time, gets Connie and Millie in the saddle to learn all about para-cycling.
