Pop Quest

Pop quiz hosted by DJ Mike Read who would later go on to present the BBC's Pop Quiz (see below). Mike Read was only the host for one series with a lady called Megg Nichol. The first series was hosted by Steve Merrick, who was at the time the Head of Music for the fledgling Pennine Radio in Bradford. Series 2 was hosted by Kid Jensen and Sally James (Tiswas) and Mike did not come onto the scene until series 3. The show finished because Mike Read got a radio 1 job and could not be employed by ITV/YTV.
