Following a fatal road accident, our protagonist suddenly finds himself transported to another world, and wakes up with the inability to move, near a mysterious lake. Very quickly, the observation is alarming: our man no longer hears his own voice and worse still: when he tries to scream in fear, the words that come out of his mouth are not the ones he wanted to say. "One product purchased, the second is free! In reality, our hero has turned into a vending machine, and the only actions he is able to perform are limited to those of a simple machine. In such a context, how will he manage to survive in this fantasy world?!
After his untimely death, our unlikely hero finds himself in another world, reincarnated as a vending machine. Now his life revolves around selling things to people, but he's stuck in the middle of nowhere with no sign of any customers.
The Hunters Association hires Lammis and Boxxo to provide food during a frog fiend hunt, with a ragtag group acting as their bodyguards. But things turn ominous when the fiends prove to be more numerous than expected.
The expedition returns to find the village has been attacked, but fortunately the damage is limited. Boxxo and Lammis discover they both have plenty of ways to help during the recovery effort.
A gang of thieves carts Boxxo away so they can extract his money, but the real surprise turns out to be the individual who's supposed to figure out how to pull off the theft.
Boxxo is already well known throughout the village for the items he's sold to date, and now he begins to find new ways to assist various residents with their problems.
Unusual things have been happening in Clearflow Lake stratum, so the Menagerie of Fools goes on a campaign with Boxxo to survey the population levels of local monsters.
Boxxo falls into a new stratum, and there he has an unexpected encounter with some hungry hunters who think he's nothing more than a convenient magic item.
Boxxo, Lammis, and a large formidable group go on a campaign in the Labyrinth stratum to defeat the local stratum lord. Meanwhile, Kerioyl reveals his reasons for targeting such foes in the first place.
