Revenged Love

Chi Cheng competes in an underground snakefighting ring, but is forced to take on his fathers business. Wu Suowei is determined to change his life after his girlfriend Yue Yue broke up with him, and set up a stall as a business venture, but he runs into Chi Cheng. As Chi Cheng and Yue Yue appear together, Wu Suowei believes them to be a couple, and sets out on a plan to get back at his ex by getting involved with Chi Cheng.

Wu Suowei asks Jiang Xiaoshuai for help in revenge and 'hunting for men', targeting Chi Cheng. The two carefully plan many encounters, gradually making Chi Cheng notice Wu Suowei. In order to get to know his target better, Wu Suowei also gets involved in raising snakes.

After a successful business deal, Chi Cheng and Wu Suowei meet in the park. They hold hands for the first time, and feelings start to develop. After suffering an injury, Guo Chengyu seeks Jiang Xiaoshuai's help in tending to his wounds, while hidden ties to gang activity are revealed.

In order to entice Chi Cheng, Wu Suowei pretends to be an intellectual and invites him to a concert, and the two grow closer in the dark theatre. Later on, Wu Suowei admits his confused feelings, and the two of them kiss.

Showing concern, Chi Cheng visits Wu Suowei and stays the night. The next day, their flirting continues on the basketball court and Chi Cheng invites him to stay over. At first Wu Suowei refuses, but when Yue Yue shows up, he changes his mind.

Wu Suowei finds out that all the sugar figurines he's given to Chi Cheng are kept by him. Chi Cheng wants to develop the relationship further, and Wu Suowei offers a purely physical relationship, to which Chi Cheng responds admitting he still has feelings for his ex-boyfriend.

Chi Cheng takes Yue Yue to meet his parents, which ends awkwardly, and Chi Cheng leaves thinking of Wu Suowei. Meanwhile, Wu Suowei finds a batch of rare snakes being sold, and suspects that they originally belonged to Chi Cheng, and decides to investigate.

Chi Cheng and Wu Suowei get a tip for a snake-transporting operation, and clash with Guo Chengyu's men. Wu Suowei gets hurt and his relationship with Chi Cheng develops while hospitalized. Chi Cheng decides to resign and start a business with Wu Suowei, while Yue Yue her secret plot has been discovered.

Wu Suo Wei's company officially launches, and Yue Yue comes by to congratulate him and reconcile, however he rebuffs her and tells her he and Chi Cheng are together. Wu Suo Wei tries to go back to being straight, but this makes Chi Cheng angry who then asks Jiang Xiao Shuai for help.

Jiang Xiao Shuai learns that the snake king Wang Shuo is about to return to the country. Meanwhile, Wu Suo Wei learns about Chi Cheng's past and falls into deep anxiety. He decides to go out to look for him, but didn't expect to find him so quickly…

Chi Cheng moves in with Wu Suo Wei, and they spend their first night together. Chi Cheng goes to visit Suo Wei's mother, and after finding her unwell, takes her to the hospital. While together, Suo Wei's mother mentions her son's previous relationship…

Wu Suo Wei confesses his reasons for approaching Chi Cheng, and their relationship reaches a new level of sweetness. However, the relationship between Jiang Xiao Shuai and Guo Cheng Yu also changes…

Lunar New Year approaches, and Chi Cheng spends time with Wu Suo Wei and his mother after his own familial obligations. However, Wang Shuo also returns, and an emotional storm is about to reach the happy couple. Meanwhile, Guo Cheng Yu seeks retribution for an injustice done to Jiang Xiao Shuai when he was younger.

Suo Wei learns that Wang Shuo was hospitalized and goes to visit him, but sees an interaction between them that breaks his heart. Xiao Shuai takes Suo Wei in again, which causes a rift between him and Cheng Yu.

Wang Shuo continues to cause drama between Wu Suowei and Chi Cheng, as Wu Suowei sees videos of their past relationship that makes him jealous. Meanwhile, Jiang Xiaoshuai discovers Wang Shuo's medical records and the truth comes to light.

Chi Cheng lies to Wu Suo Wei about his mother's condition, and the two get in a fight, while Wang Shuo's instigations make the situation worse. Jiang Xiao Shuai and Guo Cheng Yu work together to uncover the past and the truths therein.

Yue Yue tries to reconcile with Wu Suo Wei, and Chi Cheng then finds out that she is Wu Suo Wei's ex-girlfriend. He also discovers the truth about his original plan, and paired with Wang Shuo's interference, it seems like the couple is going to break up…

Wu Suo Wei feels conflicted when he learns that Chi Cheng has been quietly taking care of his mother. Although he received her understanding and blessings, Suo Wei's mother worries that their future might be difficult, which makes Chi Cheng sad.

Wu Suo Wei's mother's death causes him to have an emotional breakdown, but Chi Cheng's appearance helps them reconcile. In order to help Jiang Xiao Shuai and Guo Cheng Yu work through their own issues, Wu Suo Wei and Chi Cheng stage a breakup.

The success of Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei's plan helps Jiang Xiao Shuai and Guo Cheng Yu's relationship. Wu Suo Wei gets kidnaped, and Chi Cheng discovers the mastermind behind the plot might be his father, and he launches a rescue operation.

Chi Cheng successfully brings Wu Suo Wei back home, and the two finally reunite and embrace. Chi Cheng's sister returns to China with her niece and supports Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei's continued relationship. Just as their relationship is flourishing, Chi Cheng's company is reported for tax evasion, and he is taken into police custody. Wu Suo Wei decides to do everything he can to rescue Chi Cheng.

Wu Suo Wei decided to sell his home to raise 5 million Yuan and persuade a key witness to turn himself in to prove Chi Cheng's innocence, and the two finally reunite in the detention center.

Chi Cheng gets released, and Wu Suo Wei celebrates his hard-earned freedom with his friends. Guo Cheng Yu sells his snake farm to support Jiang Xiao Shuai as a betrothal gift, and the two make plans for their future. Chi Cheng surprises Wu Suo Wei by telling him that he bought back the house that was sold, and they pledge to walk hand in hand into a happy future.
