In major new four part series, teachers work hard to get order in their classrooms at Melbourne's Kambrya College so students can get the benefit of radical new teaching innovations.
Kambrya College addresses the critical issue of reading, and how to teach it so kids improve and learn to enjoy it. One of the Year 11 students feels the pressure to perform, and a disengaged group of boys struggle to fit in.
A positive psychology program is introduced to help the students cope with stress. The Darrabi boys face tough physical and mental challenges, and teachers deal compassionately with teen mental health issues.
As the end of school year approaches, Principal Michael Muscat is working hard to continue the improvement that began in 2008. The school showcases itself and stages its own musical.
