A normal, struggling high school boy gets swept up in a kidnapping plot involving a billionaire's daughter. He is subsequently hired as her live-in caretaker. While she must project the image of a flawless, brilliant student at school, he must secretly manage her completely hopeless daily life at home.

Itsuki takes Mirei on a much-needed day out.
Before the competition, Naruka came to Itsuki for help. She explained that she was feared by the other students and isolated at the academy because of her overwhelming victory in the kendo competition last year. Itsuki enlisted Hinako's help and began a "plan to escape loneliness," but all three of their strategies backfired. Furthermore, Itsuki himself learned that he was seen by those around him as "a nasty guy who tries to curry favor with the rich girl."
Aiming to make new friends at the academy, Itsuki actively reaches out to her classmates. Naruka also gradually begins to fit in with the class thanks to the "Noblesse Oblige Strategy" devised by Mirei. On their days off, Itsuki and Hinako practice tennis under Naruka's coaching. Then, Hinako and Naruka decide to have a practice match. The battle for the "right to go out with Itsuki" begins.
