Richard's journey begins in Malta; was it the real-life paradise ruled by irresistible goddess Calypso? And in Türkiye Richard traces the origins of Odysseus's journey at the legendary ruins of Troy.
Richard lands in vibrant Sicily, the home of Cyclops, where he cooks with a Duchess, climbs a volcano and performs in an ancient amphitheatre.
In Tunisia, home to the lotus eaters, Richard looks for the hypnotic lotus fruit. There's ancient fishing. Then it's back to Italy seeking the enchantress Circe.
In Corfu, Richard receives as warm a welcome as Odysseus, cooks a special lunch, and brushes up on his archery. His last stop is Ithaca - Odysseus's home.
