Next Episode of Romesh: Can't Knock the Hustle is
unknown.
The series kicks off with Romesh's Hustle stand-up special in full, filmed live at London's O2 Arena, in which, Romesh explores his theories on life, work, self-improvement, and success. From there, he sets off around the world to check if any of those theories were correct. In his most personal and revealing travel series to date, can Romesh find the answers to modern life... and was any of his stand-up material that he performed to over a quarter of million people actually true?
Following on from his debut arena tour Hustle, Romesh Ranganathan embarks on an eye-opening mission across India, USA, South Korea and Canada, interrogating, unravelling and debunking his own material, in a global exploration of hustle-obsessed modern existence.
Romesh Ranganathan heads to a motivational speaker's boot camp in Arizona to learn how to 'smash the day'. From there, he travels to South Korea to experience their work culture in a 'happy factory' and learns how AI could change the future. In Mumbai, he experiences hustle culture in the slums, which could provide the key to happiness, before he tries out an interesting revenue stream.
Romesh Ranganathan explores self-improvement, celebrating his body with a Korean photoshoot and visiting a shaman and experiencing a ritual that leaves him shaken. On Vancouver Island in Canada, he heads to a retreat where he gets up close and personal with fellow men, while in Arizona he meets someone on a mission to live as long as possible. Finally, he tries his hand at being in a Tamil movie to see if beauty and health is a matter of perspective.
In his final adventure, Romesh questions if success is the key to happiness. Meeting up with a millionaire thrill seeker in the US, he then heads to South Korea to talk to those living with their dream job as pro League of Legends players. In India, he meets a former businessman-turned-monk who has ditched material possessions for a simpler life, before experiencing a living funeral before he heads home.
