Ros na Rún is a soap opera set in the fictional village of Ros na Rún, focusing on the domestic and professional lives of its residents. The only soap in the world which is produced in the Irish language (English subtitles available) Filmed in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht in Galway on the Wild Atlantic Way, it is the single largest independent production commissioned in the history of Irish broadcasting and currently the most concentrated production centre outside of Dublin and Wicklow.
Tadhg is out and about early in the morning when he stumbles across something unusual. Berni is feeling terrible for what she did yesterday so she tries to backtrack, but her words have caused trouble.
Laoise does everything in her power to make Micheál believe that there is no truth to what Berni said. The Gardaí show up to question Tadhg about Risteard's murder and he realizes that he needs an alibi for that night.
Things seem to finally be looking up for Colm and Mo, but Tadhg makes a comment that plants a seed of doubt in Colm's mind. Berni is thrilled that herself and Vera have become friends again.
Mack is told some surprising information; Vanessa is determined to keep Fia's secret and Colm has started to suspect that Mo was involved in Risteard's murder.
There is a new detective in Ros na Rún to investigate the murder of Risteard, and Sonny and Cora are among his list of suspects. Sonny makes an extremely suspicious move when called in for questioning.
Mack struggles to balance work with taking care of Lorcán. He becomes increasingly busy and is unable to find anyone happy to babysit.

Berni prepares herself for the results of her Alzheimer's test and arranges to meet with Aisling to open their results together. Berni relieved to hear the conclusion of the investigation into Jude's death.
Vince is on edge when Detective Ken insists that an arrest is imminent. He begs Michelle to help him dump the stolen cash, but he panics when she refuses. What will Vince do next?

Penny is furious when she finds out that Michelle slept with Dean. But she finds comfort in the arms of another.
Mack puts on a show of heartbreak when social services take Lorcán away, but behind closed doors he admits to Bobbi Lee that he is relieved that the pressure is finally off. After Michelle publicly humiliates Cam and Penny, Cam concocts a bold plan and claims that he and Penny are now an item. Penny agrees to go along with this plan to teach Michelle a lesson.
Tadhg grows increasingly uneasy as detective Ken circles closer, but he is shocked when he is arrested for Risteard's murder. Still furious about what happened to Lorcán, Mo lashes out and blames Béibhinn for calling the authorities. Beneath her anger, she begins to wonder if she could be the one to provide Lorcán with a stable home.

Natasha is overwhelmed with guilt, convinced she played a part in Risteard's death. Unable to sit by while Tadhg faces the consequences, she tries to find a way to help him. Dean is convinced Cora could be responsible for Risteard's death.

Mo realises that taking the DNA test could actually work in her and Tadhg's favour. When she gets home to David, she's eager for him to ring the social services for Lorcán. But is David still having doubts?
Penny won't give a DNA sample, and she makes sure that none of her family gives a sample either. Cam spill's Michelle's secret to Penny and it's not long until it reaches Dean.
Vince loses it when he sees John Joe trying to fix the picture in the apartment. Vince tries to keep the money hidden but it turns to a shambles when Cam comes to visit. Is Vince's secret now exposed?
There's awkward tension between Béibhinn and Vanessa after Inis Oírr and Vanessa is worried about the future of the menopause project. Their relationship isn't the same as it was, but will this have a negative effect on the business?
Sonny is under pressure from the investors to get the hotel built. He's confident that he'll get the land off Cóilí Jackie, until Cóilí walks in with Malachaí and Natasha.
Ken is very close to pulling the wool over Tadhg's eyes as he tries to use his bail restrictions against him. Luckily O'Shea has been keeping an eye on Ken's obsession and manages to save Tadhg.
When Cóilí Jackie denies Sonny the piece of land he needs yet again, he comes up with a devious plan to sabotage him and his farm. This ends up causing just as much stress for Tadhg as it does for Cóilí Jackie!
Mo is eager to get the ball rolling with the meeting for Lorcán's custody however Mack isn't as enthusiastic. Can David get Mack to change his mind? Natasha is trying to convince Sonny that Cora is having a negative impact on him.
Réailtín goes to Vera for help, doing everything she can to turn Micheál against Laoise. Mo and David finally have their happy ending with Lorcán but it's proving to be more difficult than they had imagined.
Micheál loses his patience with Réailtín and she is left speechless, she didn't realise how angry Micheál would get about her meddling.
Dean is sick of everyone's incompetence when it comes to persuading Cóilí Jackie so, he takes matters into his own hands. Ferdia has dug himself a hole, now that word is spreading about his illness he has to improvise.
Natasha comes across the empty bottle of weedkiller while helping Cóilí Jackie with his cows. She immediately blames Sonny but a conversation with Cora makes her see red. Tadhg is at the end of his tether.
Natasha is regretting her manic choices and ends up confiding in Sonny. Penny thinks she has good news for Natasha but is horrified to find out that is not the case. Ferdia hopes that Mack will keep his secret from Noreen!
Vanessa has finally admitted her feelings for Béibhinn, giving her an overall boost of confidence and relief, but she's knocked back to square one when she sees Béibhinn getting cosy with someone else.
Cam comes up with a plan to sabotage Cora and manages to get Vince in on it too. Evan is under pressure in the café, leading him to fall out with both Cillian and Olivia.
Natasha wants everyone on board with her vendetta against Cora, but it's not long until she changes her tune and turns on Cam too. Has Natasha lost the plot completely?

Penny is finally awake but she's having some trouble with her vision, the doctors reveal some nerve-racking news! Ken is more adamant than ever to get Tadhg locked away.
Ken thinks he's getting closer to solving the case but Natasha proves him wrong. Natasha thinks she's in the right with how angry she is with her Dad since his confession. Will she choose family or justice?
Vera is adamant on figuring out what's going on with Ferdia, she has a hunch that he hasn't been honest. Sonny is worse for wear when he realises that rumours are spreading about him since the fire.
Ferdia's game has been going on for long enough and Vera isn't having anymore of his foolery. Things get messy as the truth begins to unravel. Cora knows that Olivia will do anything for Sonny's approval.
Although Ferdia got exposed publicly, his main concern is Noreen and John Joe's relationship. Can he manage to convince Conall that John Joe hasn't changed? Penny is worried about losing followers since she has been out sick.
Mo wants to reunite Mack with Lorcán, but Mack doesn't feel the same way. Her good intentions are set about the wrong way and things backfire.
Evan manages to get a new date through Tine after hearing that his ex has moved on. He goes in full of confidence, but himself and his date don't see eye to eye on much!
Mo and David get a shock when Mack reveals his plans for Lorcán. Laoise and Micheál are left to look after Lorcán for the evening when he becomes very unwell! Evan makes an effort to stay on good terms with Malachaí and Caitríona.
Laoise realises what really happened to Lorcán and she decides to take the blame herself in the hope it might soften Micheál after everything that's happened between them.
Olivia notices that something is off between Sonny and Berni and she voices her concerns to Cora. Sonny tries to get into Cora's phone. What is he looking for? Malachaí knocks Evan down a peg or two.
Penny finally cracks under the pressure and confesses the truth about Risteard's death to Ken. Ken realises he may now have exactly what he needs to finally bring Tadhg down. Berni tries to keep things steady with Evan, but tensions rise.
Sonny thinks he's finally got the upper hand on both Cora and Dean, but the tables turn dramatically when Cora makes a chilling discovery. Vanessa tries to play it cool with Béibhinn.
