Pat & Mat are neighbours and best friends who love building things and going about doing things in all the wrong ways. But they never lose spirit and they always achieve their goals, even if only for a short time before everything tumbles down. Initially they have no names assigned until in later episodes when they move out from apartment and into next-door houses where Pat & Mat names can be seen on their respective houses. There is no voice-acting whatsoever and music and sound effects do all the talking. Pat & Mat are not CG animated and the entire series uses stop motion technique.
Preparing a chicken roast is not as easy as it seems, and Pat & Mat are masters at destroying everything in the process of trying to make something.
Pat and Mat decide to build a greenhouse in their garden.
Pat & Mat are trying to catch a mouse in the house.
Pat and Mat go about repainting the window frames, but they break a lot of glass in the process.
