SLASH Raised on the Sunset Strip

Ever wondered wanted to get up close and personal with Slash? After all he is one of the most legendary and noteworthy guitarists in the history of rock music and the instrument in general. Well lucky for us, Guitar Center and DIRECTV have got us covered with a 90-minute documentary on the musician.

This Thursday, Nov. 13, at 10 p.m. on DIRECTV’s Audience Network (channel 239), as part of "SLASH Raised on the Sunset Strip", a documentary presented by Guitar Center and DIRECTV will air and give us that rare look into the spirit and history of the artist.

The 90-minute feature documentary, directed by Martyn Atkins, best known for his work with Public Image Ltd, Ministry, and Nine Inch Nails, will take viewers into the studio with the rock legend, combining new and archival footage with interviews from the artists and colleagues that influenced his incredible career. Going deep into the life of Slash is a privilege in itself, and for any self-respecting fan of the art of rock ‘n’ roll, this is an absolute must see.

Raised On The Sunset Strip traces the icon that is Slash’s incredible journey from beginning to end, featuring interviews with fellow well-established musicians such as Dave Grohl, Alice Cooper, Joe perry, Nikki Sixx, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler, Matt Sorum, Jerry Cantrell, Lemmy, Dave Mustaine, Marc Canter, Alan Niven, Perla Hudson and plenty more.
