Are today's celebrities fleet of foot or do they have two left feet? That's the question Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be finding the answer to when they present Strictly Come Dancing.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman launch a new series of the celebrity dance contest, pairing up the 15 celebrities with their professional dance partners. 2016 champions Joanne and Ore return to perform their winning jive to show, and there are also performances from Shania Twain and Rita Ora. The celebrities take to the floor for their first group dance, and there is a very special group routine as everyone on Strictly pays tribute to Sir Bruce Forsyth.
Tonight, the 15 couples will take to the Strictly ballroom to perform live in front of our fabulous four judges - Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and our brand new Head Judge Shirley Ballas, the British-born ballroom and Latin dancer, World Champion and international coach known as the ‘Queen of Latin'.
The judges will score each couple for the first time but luckily there will be no farewells this week; instead their scores will be carried over to next weekend when the viewers get the chance to vote for their favourite couple.
