Next Episode of Sweet 15: Quinceañera is
There are parties, and then there are Quinceañeras! TLC's new series "Sweet 15: Quinceañera" celebrates the traditional rite of passage in a Latina's life passed on from generation to generation, and a day of pride for the entire family. Turning 15 is a once in a lifetime event that commemorates the day a young girl enters into womanhood. Cousins Alexis and Jarling are Miami's premiere Quinceañera party experts and dress shop owners who do it all. Along with Alexis' wife Daniela, they work with their clients to create an unforgettable event. From a bikini photo shoot with an alligator and a "Diamonds Are Forever" theme to a Bollywood photo shoot, a "Winter Wonderland" theme and a photo shoot in a hot air balloon, no request is too big or out of the question. While longstanding cultural traditions like finding the perfect dress and the father daughter dance still remain prevalent, new American traditions are becoming a staple, including over-the-top photo shoots, numerous mid-party outfit changes, and music videos that rival those of the biggest teen pop sensations. In addition to the glamour and opulence of the main event, and at the heart of it all, is a family who has been in the Quinceañera business for over 45 years.
Anamarie wants the Bella shop to accommodate her underwater photo shoot and diamond-themed party; Yolanda has a mail-order dress disaster.
A demanding mother makes a winter wonderland party more difficult to pull off; Alexis searches for baby tigers for a photo shoot.
The Bella Quinces team works with client Tiffany to pull off a figure skating photo shoot and a Christmas quinceañera in hot Miami. However, the Bella team is in need of a Christmas miracle when a severe storm threatens to ruin the backyard party.
Jarling and Daniela mediate as client Beatriz and her mother argue over traditional vs. non-traditional quinceañera dresses; Alexis tries to bring his vision to fruition for a hot air balloon photo shoot.
