The newest hit reality sensation in the U.S. is “America’s Got Talent” and it now airs versions in over 25 countries as well and “Talent 2008” is Denmark’s version of the series. “Talent 2008” made its’ debut on Friday night, 15 August 2008 on the DR1 TV network.

Casting for this version was held between April and June 2008 with auditions being taped in June. The judges for Denmark’s version are Julie Steinicke, Martin Hall and Peter Aalbæk Jensen. The series originally began as “Denmark’s Got Talent” but just prior to the airing of the debut episode they decided to name it “Talent 2008” instead. This show has 2 hosts who are Felix Schmidt and Mikkel Herforth. The series is scheduled to have its’ finale episode of season 1 on 24 October 2008.
