Misaki wants to escape her everyday life and set out on a journey somewhere. And while she doesn't yet know what she will be in the future, Misaki knows for certain that she wants to find something she is passionate about. Soon after arriving on campus to start her college life, she meets the members of the Railway Travel Club. Misaki's heart now beats with excitement for the new world that lies ahead on the railway.
With her university entrance exams just around the corner, Misaki is asked by her childhood friend Yayoi, "Isn't there anything you want to do?" However, having lived her life aimlessly until now, she couldn't answer immediately. "What do I really want to do...?" she wonders, as spring arrives. In an effort to find something she wants to do at university, Misaki decides to attend a club information session!
Misaki joins the Tetsuryo-kai (railway club) and immediately begins activities with her seniors, Kodama, Ushio, and Usa, but... since Misaki doesn't know much about railways, she doesn't know what she should do first. That's when Kodama suggests, "Let's go to the Choshi Electric Railway" as a welcome party for new members...
