Next Episode of Angry Video Game Nerd is
unknown.
The titular Nerd character is an ill-tempered and foul-mouthed video game fanatic. He derives comic appeal from excessive and inventive use of profanity, frequent displays of explicit gestures, and heavy consumption of beer, particularly Rolling Rock or Yuengling, to "soothe the pain". A particular characteristic is his favorable comparison of extremely repulsive and painful, usually firmly scatological, acts to playing the games he reviews. Varying amounts of physical comedy are mixed into the verbal abuse.
In Angry Video Game Nerd episode 230, The Nerd plays possibly the worst Contra game ever made: Contra Force!
In Angry Video Game Nerd episode 231, The Nerd teams up with Scott the Woz to tackle ToeJam & Earl on the Sega Genesis! It's a game about two alien rappers, random presents, and trying not to fall off the planet. It's weird, confusing, creative, and exactly the kind of game that leaves the Nerd asking, "What were they thinking?!"
Angry Video Game Nerd episode 232. The Nerd takes a look at the wild history of Crash Bandicoot, from the original PlayStation classic to the strange sequels that followed. With a little "help" from special guest Caddicarus, the Nerd dives into platforming, kart racing, party games, crossovers, and some of the weirdest moments in Crash history. Featuring Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2, Crash Team Racing, Crash Bash, The Wrath of Cortex, Twinsanity, Crash of the Titans, and more.
Angry Video Game Nerd episode 233. The Nerd learns that beating Bubble Bobble the right way takes more than one player. To reach the true ending, he has to bring in a very special guest. Together they blow bubbles, trap enemies, dodge Grumple Grommit (aka "Super Drunk"), decode the game's bizarre on-screen messages, and grind through both loops to earn the ending most people never saw back in the day.
