Yve Gibney met fellow Brit Maurice after moving to Nigeria in the 90s and they hit it off instantly. Yve and Maurice married and had a son together. But by 2011 Maurice is working abroad in Oman and cancelling plans with his family.

Maurice has been making secret trips back to the UK. Yve traces these to an address near Birmingham. When she calls, she is told by the man who answers that Maurice is his brother-in-law… and when she sees a wedding photo online she realises that man the blushing bride is staring lovingly at is her husband Maurice!
