Next Episode of The Goldbergs is
Before there were parenting blogs, trophies for showing up and peanut allergies, there was a simpler time called the '80s. For geeky and movie obsessed youngest child Adam, these were his wonder years, and he faced them armed with a video camera to capture all the crazy. The Goldbergs are a loving family like any other -- just with a lot more yelling. Mom Beverly is a classic "smother," an overbearing, overprotective matriarch who loves her delicious kids, but still rules this brood with 100% authority and zero sense of boundaries. Dad Murray is gruff and sometimes oblivious, parenting with half his attention span but all his heart. Sister Erica is popular and terrifying, doing her best to cover up that she's the smartest of the clan. Barry is a passionate dreamer, who maybe dreams a little too big and who always gets the short end of the stick. Adam is the youngest, a camera-wielding future director who's navigating first love, and growing up with his family. Rounding out the family is beloved grandfather Al "Pops" Solomon, the wild man of the clan, a shameless Don Juan who's learning as much from his family as he teaches them.
The Dropouts are thrilled when they book a gig at a Flyers charity carnival, and Adam uses the opportunity to make his very first rockumentary. Since Barry doesn't want to miss out on the fun, he forces his way into the band, despite his sister's objections. Meanwhile, Beverly's concerns about Murray's health push him to the limit.
Having become obsessed with game shows since leaving college, Erica tries out for "Jeopardy!"; a new crush makes Barry realize he might not be over Lainey.
After Adam decides to see "Willow" instead of spending Mother's Day with Beverly, he must find a way to get back into her smothering good graces. Meanwhile, Barry is tired of his status as middle child and fights Erica for his right to the college of his choice.
When Adam unintentionally lets it slip that Barry never completed his community service requirement, the brothers join together to throw the greatest breakdancing battle in the history of William Penn. Geoff's stress levels are at an all-time high, so Erica makes an adult decision and plans for them to follow the Grateful Dead all summer. Finally, it's the end of an era when the JTP graduates from high school.
