The Hairy Bikers are back, and this time will be sharing their favourite home-cooked comfort food. In this new show to BBC One, Si and Dave give viewers ideas for delicious dishes that are easy to make and comforting to eat.The series also looks at the stories behind some of our favourite dishes, those that have bonded families over generations, and goes into the home kitchens of top chefs to find out what comforting dishes they like to cook on their days off.
Dave Myers and Simon King whip up dishes which evoke traditional values. They put a twist on a classic pudding, create a perfect teatime treat and combine two breakfast favourites to make one lip-smacking new dish.
Dave Myers and Simon King cook some of their favourite comfort food. It's a trip back in time for Si as the Bikers cook dishes from his home county - Northumberland. This means a celebration of local seafood, a traditional lamb recipe and a new way of serving his favourite ice cream.
The Bikers cook dishes to feed body and soul, including some of their favourite recipes which are both healthy and delicious. There is a wholesome warming soup, a chic healthy pudding and even a low-fat version of a family favourite, burger and fries.
