Next Episode of The Mart is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Farming is a risky business, and when it's time to make money, the stakes are high. It's up to the auctioneers at Thainstone Mart to get the best prices they can for farmers across Scotland
Turkey farmer Craig Michie pulls out all the stops to promote his poultry at the Taste of Grampian event. Sheep auctioneer Colin Slessor has his hands full at a record-breaking sausage-making competition, and cattle farmer Alan Gibb takes some very delicate pregnant heifers to market.
Rookie auctioneer Scott battles nerves to sell sheep for the very first time. Catering supervisor Linda causes controversy when she tries to spice up breakfast. And in Caithness, it could be the end of the line for a traditional sheep breed when two farming brothers take their lambs to market.
Rival bidders Graham Donald and Gary Fraser are both smitten by the same classic tow truck at the machinery sale. In Caithness, island farmer Willie Simpson makes a perilous boat journey to bring his sheep to market. And father-and-son cattle farmers John and Euan Gordon deliver a new calf just before a big sale.
Young farmer Laura Green takes a pedigree bull to one of the biggest shows of the year at Thainstone. Former auctioneer turned farmer Finlay McIntyre returns to the mart to sell his lambs. And Alan Hutcheon and Colin Slessor compete to see who can make the biggest sale of a famous comic character at a charity auction in Dundee.
