The Mindy Project is a single-camera comedy series which follows a skilled OB/GYN navigating the tricky waters of both her personal and professional life.
It is the beginning of "firsts" for Mindy and Danny, as they try to set new relationship boundaries for each other in the office. Meanwhile, things get a little complicated when Jeremy tries to organize a charity event with Peter's girlfriend, Lauren; and Morgan's cousin, Lou Tookers, pays a visit to the doctor's office.
It's Mindy's time to shine when Danny's mom comes to the city and Mindy is determined to win her approval. Meanwhile, Morgan tries to stand up for himself in his relationship with Tamra.

Mindy starts to question Danny's commitment to their relationship when he's a no-show for dinner with her parents.
