In January 1982 Lynette Dawson disappears. Christopher Dawson tells Lynette's friends and family that she simply left, and almost everyone believes he is an abandoned husband.
Lyn and Chris Dawson's life was perfect. He was a teacher and footballer, she was a devoted mother and wife. Lyn disappeared. Did she walk out, or did something sinister happen?
Cromer students knew Mr Dawson was having sex with his teenage student. When she moved into his home just days after his wife Lynette disappeared, no-one raised an eyebrow.
Lynette's loved ones push unsuccessfully for her disappearance to be properly investigated. The case stalls until 16 years later when detective Damian Loone is assigned.
Nearly forty years have passed since Lynette's disappearance, and it looks like Christopher Dawson will never face justice. Then a podcast investigation is released and spurs authorities to action.
