Yuzu looks nervous as she meets them, but is surprised by the unexpected gap between their image and reality, though she manages to complete her greetings successfully. When Yuzu and Karin were still young, their parents doted on the sociable and charming Karin, forcing Yuzu to endure hardship. One day, Karin asked her parents if she could enroll in Kakuriyo Academy. Her parents hesitated due to the high tuition fees, but they enrolled her, hoping that Karin might be chosen as a bride for a yokai. On the day of the entrance ceremony, Yota told her, "You are my bride," and Karin's destiny began to unfold.
